Leeona Harrison began working at Community Life Services (CLS) in February 2002.  Leeona started her position as a direct-care staff and during her tenure held every position in the organization before becoming the Director.  While working at CLS, Leeona earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology and after accepting the position of CLS Director in 2014, she obtained a Nursing Home Administrators License.  Leeona was instrumental in organizing social activities for consumers living in CLS facilities.  These activities include participation in adult Miracle League, Camp Runamuck, and an annual beach vacation. She works tirelessly to provide our consumers with the best care, while also offering opportunities to provide new experiences. Most recently, Leeona helped spearhead Magnificent Mondays and a car show for the consumers. Each week during Magnificent Mondays consumers try new skills including making Thanksgiving dinner, learning new sports like dodgeball, and creating their own masterpieces.  We are excited to see what new ventures happen at CLS under the leadership of Leeona. Over the next several years, she plans to help consumers experience new things and grow as individuals. Thank you Leeona for all you do for AEDD!
