The founder of AEDD, Sam Sanders, passed away March 6, 2022. He celebrated his 95th birthday on Valentine’s Day surrounded by his family. Sam will be greatly missed by all that knew him and left a legacy behind in his life’s work serving adults with developmental disabilities at AEDD.  You can make a gift in memory of Sam to the preschool, Sammie Gail Childrens Learning Center, named after his daughter who was born developmentally disabled and passed away in 1971, the year AEDD was founded.
